Femern A/S – Design assignments

Regular cooperation on design and communication assignments

The Fehmarnbelt tunnel is the largest infrastructure project in Denmark up until now, and now the actual building process is about to commence. A fixed link to Germany is going to change our traffic patterns. The fast route will give access to new markets in Europe. And many companies will benefit greatly from the fixed link between Denmark and Germany.

Now, we have updated and revitalised the design of Femern A/S – in particular, we have optimised Femern’s design for the digital world and social media. Among other things, we have developed infographics, ads, brochures and exhibition material for the two info centres in Burg, Fehmarn and Rødby, Lolland. We look forward to following the development of the project and working on interesting assignments with the talented people at Femern A/S.

It is exciting to be part of this large a project – to come up with and design material that is to explain and inform citizens, politicians and stakeholders about the project.

At BGRAPHIC, we have a lot of experience with large infrastructure projects. Since the beginning of BGRAPHIC, we have created design and communication solutions for Øresundsbro Konsortiet, the Storebælt Bridge and Sund & Bælt Holding.

Since 2017 – when we won a tender – BGRAPHIC has developed design and communication assignments for Femern A/S. However, our cooperation with Femern A/S goes even further back. In 2009, the company was appointed by the Minister of Transport to undertake preparatory work, investigations and the planning of a fixed link across the Fehmarnbelt. In this connection, BGRAPHIC has developed design for what might be the greatest VVM in Danish history, and we have designed a report concerning development perspectives for the new Fehmarnbelt region. The report was published and developed as an e-book – in Danish, German and English.
